1. Enhanced Requirements
- Requirements now appear in their own tab, in the model browser, on their own details
form and in the properties window.
- New fields for a requirement allow you to
add details such as priority, assigned to and status. Or, add your own custom
fields.
- Assign requirements to a use case via drag and drop
- Enhanced
traceability reporting lets you view the dependencies between use cases and requirements.
-
Different requirement types are supported including functional, business rules and
change requests.
2. Test Plans
Generate test plans directly from your use cases.
Click for sample. Generate a test case check list which includes a
checkoff for each extension (exception or alternative flow) of the selected use
cases.
3. Use Case Refactoring
Split out a subsection of your flow of events into a new use case
in one easy step.
4. Side-by-side editing
Now you can have more than one use case open at a time.
5. Multiple Primary Actors
Assign multiple primary actors to your use case.
6. Easier movement between Packages
Use drag and drop or context menu from the main list view to move
multiple use cases, actors or requirements to a new package in the model browser.
7. Sort on Multiple Columns
Sort on up to 3 fields, e.g. first by release, then by priority
then by assigned to. Arrows in column headers show which columns you are sorting
on and in which direction.
8. Expandable Description Fields
Expand the input box for more editing room.
9. Enhanced Word Reports
Support for many new Word report keywords including a grouping construct
allowing you to group your use cases by 1 or more properties. E.g.
group use cases by complexity, then within each of those subgroups, group them by
priority.
10. Enhanced HTML Reporting
Configurable sorting for reports gives you more options.
11. Auto Save
Backup files are saved periodically. Configurable time period.
12. Cross-model Hyperlinks
Reference use cases from another model. Simply indicate the
file and ID using this syntax in any Case Complete editor: [Path\File.ucd?UC-100]
and the hyperlink will be inserted automatically.
13. Cross-application Hyperlinks
Add a hyperlink to any application that supports URLs which
links to a use case, actor or requirement. Clicking on the hyperlink starts
Case Complete and brings up the selected item. Reference the destination file
and ID using this syntax:
cc://Path\File.ucd?UC-100
14. Support for .NET 2.0 Framework
Case Complete 2.5 will run under either .NET 1.1 or .NET 2.0.
15. Import

tab delimited text files.
